Well, it may be tragic, but I think the spinning disc would probably be gone by this point. I’m not an expert on, well, anything really, but I’m really not an expert on analog vacuum tube electronics, but it feels plausible to me that you could produce a longer-lived color phosphor, and a shadow mask technology wherein only one colored electron beam is active for each field.
